A Fundraiser for Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS)

Building on the success of last year’s Busking for Survivors, Métis leader/activist/elder Tony Belcourt will again bring together Indigenous and Non-Indigenous buskers, singer/songwriters & recording artists featuring:

  • Kevin Schofield – The Tennessee Cree;
  • dynamic Fiddleground & Aurora Jade;
  • Shane Belcourt, roots-rock songwriter;
  • Aspects and his young singing sensation daughter Ilyah Rose;
  • political folk recording artist Christophe Elie;
  • and multi-talented musician/teacher Ken Kanwisher

Indigenous Food and Craft Fair: 1–6 pm, United Church Social Hall

Special thanks to the Almonte United Church for supporting this step towards Reconciliation.
